NO FISHING ZONE

In Sri Lanka, the vibrant tapestry of avian life includes seven species of kingfishers, each with its own unique charm. Among them are the Common Kingfisher, the Stork-billed Kingfisher, the White-throated Kingfisher, the Pied Kingfisher, the Black-capped Kingfisher, the Brown-breasted Kingfisher, and the elusive Blue-eared Kingfisher. Having had the privilege of photographing six of these magnificent birds, I’ve been captivated by their dazzling plumage and agile hunting prowess. However, the Blue-eared Kingfisher remains a tantalizing challenge, evading my lens with its secretive habits and secluded habitats. Yet, its mysterious allure only deepens my determination to capture its beauty in the wild.
